Actress Jaime Pressly was reportedly asked to leave the Signia by Hilton San Jose on Thursday after allegedly exhibiting erratic behavior, including loud phone conversations, profanity, and consuming alcohol. The incident led to her canceling a scheduled appearance at GalaxyCon.
According to reports, hotel guests complained about Pressly's behavior, which included talking loudly on her phone and using expletives. Witnesses claimed she appeared to be under the influence and was approached by hotel security multiple times.
During a phone call that reportedly lasted 30 minutes, Pressly was overheard saying, "Mommy loves you," and "You are the best husband I have ever divorced and you are good to our kids." Pressly has three sons from previous relationships.
Witnesses stated that after the call, Pressly approached a woman attending a wedding at the hotel, touched her arm, and complained about the security guards. After another phone call, a security guard told Pressly, "We're done," and she was escorted away. She had briefly left the lobby to smoke outside before returning and was later escorted from the premises.
The San Jose Police Department confirmed that authorities were not called to the hotel. A spokesperson for Signia by Hilton San Jose declined to comment on the matter, citing privacy obligations. Representatives for Pressly did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Pressly was scheduled to appear at GalaxyCon, a fan convention, but canceled her participation following the hotel incident.
