Jaime King's estranged husband, Austin Sosa, has filed court documents to expedite the finalization of their divorce. In a Declaration for Default or Uncontested Dissolution filed on June 22, Sosa requested to bypass a trial in the proceedings.
According to the documents obtained by Page Six, Sosa stated that he and King have "no assets or debts to be disposed of by the court" and that he is waiving any right to spousal or partner support. He listed their date of separation as November 11, 2025, and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.
King and Sosa's marriage was kept private, with Page Six reporting they wed in April 2025. In January, Sosa initially filed for divorce from the actress. At that time, King expressed she was "completely blindsided" by the filing, stating she believed they were working on their relationship. She also denied rumors of a romantic involvement with hotelier Vikram Chatwal, clarifying that any interactions were strictly professional business meetings.
King shares two sons, James and Leo, with her previous ex-husband, Kyle Newman. Their divorce proceedings, which concluded in September 2023, were contentious, with King making abuse allegations against Newman, which he denied. In October 2023, King lost physical custody of their children after failing to complete a required drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.
