Jaime King and Austin Sosa Finalize Divorce Less Than Two Years After Secret Marriage
A Los Angeles judge signed off on the dissolution of their marriage, restoring both King and Sosa to single persons.
Actress Jaime King and Austin Sosa have officially divorced, with a Los Angeles judge signing off on the dissolution of their marriage on Friday. The finalization comes less than two years after the pair secretly tied the knot.
According to court documents, the judge restored both King and Sosa to the status of single persons. The judgment also indicates that Sosa has reserved his right to seek spousal support from King, while the court has terminated its ability to award spousal support to King from Sosa. The former couple does not have any children together.
Sosa, an investment banker, had previously filed to end the marriage in January, citing “irreconcilable differences” and listing November 11, 2025, as their date of separation. In June, he filed a declaration for a default or uncontested dissolution, stating that the exes had no shared assets or debts for the court to divide.
King, 47, previously told Page Six that she was “completely blindsided” by the divorce filing, which she stated came “out of nowhere.” She had expressed that she believed the couple was working through their marital challenges, stating, “I was with Austin the night before it became public, and while like many marriages, we had normal challenges, I genuinely believed we were working on our relationship.”
