Jaguars Offer Fans Eternal Resting Place in Stadium Ashes Project

The Jacksonville Jaguars are exploring a novel way to deepen fan connection by offering a space for cremated remains within EverBank Stadium. This initiative, dubbed the "904Ever Club," is part of the team's extensive $1.4 billion stadium renovation.

The project, undertaken in partnership with Eternal Fan, the team's official fan memories partner, aims to create a 14-by-14-foot memorial. This dedicated space will house personal artifacts, including the ashes of devoted fans. According to reports, some fans have already committed as much as $6,000 for a spot in this unique memorial.

The highest tier package is priced at $5,904. This arrangement allows Eternal Fan to handle the construction and maintenance of the memorial, while also providing annual fees to the Jaguars. The team will play in Orlando next season while EverBank Stadium undergoes its significant upgrades, which include a new canopy and wider concourses.

The introduction of the "904Ever Club" raises questions about fan loyalty and the ultimate expression of dedication to a sports team. While the concept is unusual, it offers a distinct option for fans seeking a permanent connection to their favorite franchise beyond the typical urns or cemetery plots.
