Actors Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner have drawn criticism online for what some are calling a "ridiculous and over the top" effort to conceal their identities while traveling through Brisbane Airport.

The couple, who were reportedly in Australia to celebrate Elordi's 29th birthday, were photographed attempting to go incognito. Their attire included baseball caps, hoodies, sunglasses, face masks, and oversized scarves. Elordi, known for his role in "Saltburn," was seen in a navy hoodie, trackpants, and a patterned scarf, carrying a Bottega Veneta tote and a Gucci duffle bag.

Jenner wore an Adidas baseball cap, a face mask, an oversized scarf, and a beige trench coat over black trousers. She carried a notable green leather handbag from The Row.

Despite their efforts to blend in, the pair were heavily criticized on social media. Comments suggested they were taking themselves too seriously and that their attempts at anonymity were unsuccessful. Several social media users remarked that their presence in Australia did not warrant such extreme measures to avoid recognition.

Adding to their conspicuousness were the luxury designer bags they carried, estimated to be worth over $30,000. Elordi's Bottega Veneta tote alone is valued at $15,500, while his Gucci duffle bag costs approximately $6,000. Jenner's The Row handbag is reportedly valued at around $5,000.

Earlier, the couple had been seen in Byron Bay, where Elordi celebrated his birthday with friends and family. Jenner had arrived in Australia earlier in the month and had been staying at Elordi's estate near Byron Bay. They were also photographed walking in Byron Bay with Elordi's golden retriever.
