Actress Jaclyn Smith opted for a striking, yet familiar, ensemble at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards, choosing to rewear a Monique Lhuillier gown first seen at her son's wedding. The seafoam green dress, adorned with feathers and sequins, made a notable appearance on the red carpet.

Smith, 80, explained her choice to Variety, stating, "I like the color ... And to be very honest, I’ve worn this gown before." The dress was originally purchased for her son's July 2023 wedding.

When asked about the decision to rewear a gown, Smith referenced Catherine, Princess of Wales, a royal known for her frequent outfit repetitions. "Everybody said, ‘How can you do that?’" Smith recalled. "Well, if Princess Kate can re-wear something, I can re-wear something."

Princess Kate is recognized for her consistent practice of rewearing dresses and other outfits for both public engagements and formal events.

Smith's appearance at the Emmys also marked a reunion with her "Charlie's Angels" co-stars Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd. The trio presented the award for Outstanding Drama Series, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their iconic television show and honoring their late castmate, Farrah Fawcett.
