Jack Osbourne has revealed that he and his wife, Aree Osbourne, are raising their five children without the assistance of a nanny. Osbourne told People magazine at an Emmy nominees event that while he initially expected the experience to be more challenging, they have found a manageable rhythm.

"I thought it was going to be way gnarlier than it is, but you find a rhythm," Osbourne said. Aree Osbourne is a stay-at-home mother to their daughters Maple, 4, and Ozzy Matilda, 6 months. Jack also has three older children from his previous marriage: Pearl, 14, Andy, 11, and Minnie, 8.

Recently, the couple celebrated Maple’s first day of preschool. Jack Osbourne shared a photo of Maple with her younger sister, Ozzy Matilda, whom he jokingly referred to as her "emotional support squad."

Osbourne noted that his parenting style differs from that of his late father, Ozzy Osbourne, and mother, Sharon Osbourne. "I’m a little more structured with my kids than my parents were with me," Jack previously told People. "I won’t take them out of school just to go travel. We do a little bit, but I think structure is healthy."

The couple welcomed their youngest daughter, Ozzy Matilda, in March, naming her in honor of Jack's late father, who passed away in July. Jack mentioned in a previous interview with The Sun that the pregnancy served as a source of hope for the family during their grieving period.

"It’s awesome," he said of the pregnancy. "I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing — probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way. It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness."

Jack's sister, Kelly Osbourne, has also spoken about navigating grief following their father's death, addressing public commentary she received about her appearance during that time. She told Hello! that she was not well and that healing is a slow, ongoing process.

In 2023, Jack Osbourne addressed comments body-shaming him for being underweight, stating on Instagram that his weight had been stable since his appearance on "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" six months prior. He explained that the only change was shaving his beard and noted his lifelong struggle with public criticism regarding his weight.
