Ivanka Trump attended an arrival ceremony for China's President Xi Jinping and his wife, Madame Peng Liyuan, on Thursday, choosing a figure-hugging blue gown. She was accompanied by her daughter, Arabella, and Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance.

The 44-year-old Ivanka Trump's ensemble featured a tight blue dress with a matching jacket adorned with intricate white floral detailing. She styled her blonde hair in an updo, complemented by white pearl earrings and white pumps. She was seen in the audience as her father, President Donald Trump, delivered a welcoming speech to Xi.

Meanwhile, Melania Trump, 56, opted for a different style, wearing an all-black ensemble. She arrived hand-in-hand with President Trump, dressed in a black pencil skirt, a button-down suit top, and dark heels. Her brown hair was styled in loose waves.

President Donald Trump wore a navy blue suit with a pink tie. Xi Jinping and Trump are scheduled to discuss a range of issues during the three-day visit, including technology and the future of Tehran. Bilateral negotiations are planned, alongside cultural and social events. A state dinner is set for Thursday evening in the White House's East Room.

The leaders and their wives are also expected to visit the National Archives. Discussions are anticipated to include sensitive topics such as Taiwan and a $14 billion U.S. military package, as well as trade issues, with a trade truce set to expire on November 10.

The welcoming ceremony at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) involved rows of U.S. soldiers and military aircraft. This arrival mirrored the welcome Trump received during his trip to Beijing in May. The presidential limousine, known as the Beast, transported the President and First Lady to meet Xi and his wife.
