Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner Gain Membership at Exclusive Florida Country Club

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have successfully secured membership at the highly exclusive Indian Creek Country Club in Florida, according to a source. A notice to members is expected to be issued soon, confirming the couple's admission.

Their acceptance comes after several years of effort to integrate into the affluent community of Indian Creek Island, often referred to as the "Billionaire Bunker." The couple purchased a property on the island for over $30 million in 2020 and have since expanded their landholdings. Initially, reports suggested that political sentiments surrounding Ivanka Trump's father, former President Donald Trump, created obstacles to their membership.

However, in the months leading up to their acceptance, Trump and Kushner actively worked to become part of the community. Kushner joined the governing board of Indian Creek Village, and Trump participated in members' events, including being invited to play golf on the club's course by existing members. A report from August indicated that the couple was "edging ever closer to club membership."

The Indian Creek Country Club is known for its rigorous and lengthy membership process, which can take years to complete. The club draws members from both within and outside the island's small residential community of 41 homes.

Several other high-profile individuals have sought membership at the club, including Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, who own significant real estate on the island valued at $234 million. Despite their considerable investments, Bezos and Sanchez have not yet been granted membership, though sources suggest they are likely to be admitted eventually if they continue to engage with the club's social events. Similarly, Mark Zuckerberg, who purchased a $170 million property on the island, and members of the Qatari royal family, who also reside there, have not yet achieved membership.

Membership at Indian Creek is considered exceptionally difficult to obtain due to high demand and the exclusive nature of the club. The island's residents are noted for not engaging in extensive spontaneous social interactions, requiring prospective members to make a concerted effort to integrate and gain acceptance.
