Israel has expelled the Netherlands from the U.S.-led Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) in Kiryat Gat, citing a series of Dutch government actions against the Jewish state, according to Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar. The decision comes in response to a Dutch law, set to take effect next month, that will prohibit trade in products originating from the West Bank, eastern Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights.

Sa’ar announced Tuesday that he had notified both the Netherlands and the United States of the eviction. Dutch representatives at the center were given one week to leave Israel, but the expulsion took immediate effect.

"Our message is clear," Sa'ar stated. "Those who act against Israel will have no foothold in the region. Israel will not allow measures to be taken against it without a response."

He also linked the Dutch government's policies to an "unprecedented wave of antisemitism and boycotts in the Netherlands."

The CMCC, established by U.S. Central Command in October 2025, serves as a multinational command facility. Its responsibilities include overseeing the Gaza ceasefire, managing humanitarian aid delivery, and planning post-war stabilization efforts such as reconstruction and security. The center houses working areas for the Israel Defense Forces, U.S. personnel, and numerous international delegations.

The Netherlands joins Belgium, Ireland, and Spain as European nations implementing restrictions on trade with Jewish communities in areas that are largely considered occupied territory by the international community. Israel maintains that it annexed eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights after liberating them in defensive wars.
