Isla Fisher and Alexander Skarsgård Attend Star-Studded Gala After-Party
The actress and actor were seen leaving the Chateau Marmont together following the Academy Museum Gala, one year after Fisher's divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
Isla Fisher and Alexander Skarsgård were among the notable figures seen leaving the iconic Chateau Marmont on Saturday night, following the Academy Museum Gala. The pair, along with a larger group, were observed migrating from the hotel to a private party held across the street.
Fisher, 50, was seen wearing the same beaded black dress she had worn to the earlier gala event. Skarsgård, also 50, opted for a crisp white button-up shirt, black trousers, dress shoes, and a clean-shaven appearance.
Their public appearance together comes more than a year after Fisher and her ex-husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, finalized their divorce. The couple publicly announced their split in April 2024, having quietly filed for divorce in 2023. In a joint statement, they described their separation after 20 years together as a “long tennis match.” They have three children together.
Fisher's ex-husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, was also in attendance at the Academy Museum Gala.
In a separate matter earlier this year, Skarsgård addressed speculation regarding his sexuality. The actor, known for his roles in "Big Little Lies," "Succession," and "True Blood," clarified comments made previously that had led to widespread discussion. While promoting his film "Pillion," in which he plays a dominant partner in a gay BDSM relationship, Skarsgård had stated, "I do have a kid, but what I've done in the past, who I've been with, men, women…" These remarks were interpreted by many on social media as him coming out as bisexual. He later told Variety that the statement was unintentional and potentially an attempt to shift focus to the film's story.
Skarsgård has a child with his girlfriend, Swedish actress Tuva Novotny, 46. Their child was reportedly born in late 2022 or early 2023.
