A 33-year-old Iraqi man has been charged with multiple offenses, including the rape of a 14-year-old boy and stalking a woman in her 20s. Sadiq Farhad Azad, who is reportedly of no fixed address, is scheduled to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court.

The alleged rape of the boy occurred in an alleyway off London Road in Portsmouth between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on August 6. The victim reportedly spoke to the perpetrator on a bus shortly before the incident, and the man was not previously known to the teenager. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary launched an investigation after the attack was reported five days later.

During the investigation into the alleged rape, a woman in her 20s came forward on September 1 with a separate allegation. She reported being stalked by a man for approximately one year and also alleged that a family member's car had been damaged. Investigations by officers led to Azad's arrest in connection with both incidents.

Azad has been formally charged with rape of a child aged 13 to 15, stalking, and criminal damage to property valued at less than £5,000. He is currently being held in custody pending his court appearance.
