A new billboard in Tehran's Valiasr Square displays a message alluding to former President Donald Trump as the next target of the Islamic Republic, following the recent death of Senator Lindsey Graham. The billboard, which features capitalized letters spelling "D nexT one?" and the hashtag #LindseyGraham, appeared after Graham, a staunch critic of Iran, died suddenly on a Saturday. The medical examiner cited a tear in the aorta as the cause of death, though theories have circulated following an FBI search of his Washington D.C. home.

Graham, 71, had been a vocal opponent of the Islamic Republic, referring to it as the "mothership of terrorism" and advocating for military action to disrupt Iran's oil business. He had previously dismissed images of Iranians displaying a poster with his face marked by a bullseye, responding, "At least they used a good photo of me."

The billboard is reportedly managed by a media organization linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This development is the latest in a series of threats against Trump that have emerged in Iranian public spaces since July 9. Earlier in the week, another billboard in Tehran depicted Trump in a black coffin with the Persian text "We Kill Trump." A separate display in Palestine Square showed headshots of members of Trump's family, including Melania, Ivanka, and Don Jr., superimposed on coffins draped with U.S. flags.

Iran's state media, Fars News Agency, also published an English-language video titled "Where Do We Kill Trump?" which purported to show the route to Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida before it was removed from X. Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran's current supreme leader, also issued a statement warning of "unforgettable lessons" if the U.S. continued its actions against Iran, referring to the U.S. as "the Great Satan."
