Iran has released footage showing the destruction of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's compound, days after the leader's death in a U.S.-Israel airstrike. The 50-second video, released as part of a six-day funeral commemoration, reveals the interior of the compound, which was severely damaged by missile strikes on February 28.

The footage displays deep piles of rubble covering the floor, buckled ceiling supports, and doors that were blown off their hinges. Exterior aerial views show the compound reduced to twisted metal and crumbled debris. Khamenei, who had led the Islamic Republic since 1989, was 86 years old at the time of his death.

Mojtaba Khamenei, who succeeded his father as Iran's supreme leader, has not been seen publicly since the airstrikes and has missed his father's funeral services.

In parallel, U.S. President Trump stated that an interim cease-fire agreement with Iran is "over." He also threatened further strikes and characterized the Iranian leadership as "scum." The U.S. reportedly resumed airstrikes against Iran this week, targeting approximately 90 locations over two days.
