Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced Tuesday they had targeted infrastructure belonging to the U.S. company Amazon in Bahrain, according to a statement published by state media. The Guards claimed the facility was being used as a launchpad for attacks against Tehran.

This declaration follows Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's statement Monday that his country was engaged in "full-scale war" with the United States. The announcement comes amid the tenth consecutive night of U.S. strikes against Iran, authorized by President Donald Trump.

President Trump stated that Iran would face significant repercussions for killing American soldiers over the weekend. The U.S. military's Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed on Tuesday that its forces targeted "Iranian military command centres, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites and air defence systems," releasing footage of bombings in Iran.

Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has been significantly impacted by the escalating conflict. Early Tuesday, Iran attacked a tanker in the strait, forcing its crew to abandon the vessel. The British military's United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations center also reported the attack on the tanker off Oman.

Iranian authorities reported on Sunday that at least 50 people were killed and 517 wounded in recent U.S. strikes. Since the conflict began on February 28, 17 U.S. service members have been killed. The Pentagon's chief spokesperson stated that nearly 100 U.S. service members have been injured since July 7, with the majority suffering minor concussions and having returned to duty.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated that while the U.S. remains open to negotiation, the current situation does not reflect productive diplomatic engagement. Meanwhile, Iran's interior minister traveled to Pakistan, a nation acting as a mediator, for talks aimed at de-escalating the conflict.

The U.S. State Department issued a warning to Americans, advising that "Iran and groups supportive of Iran may target other U.S. interests overseas or at locations associated with the United States and Americans throughout the world."

The ongoing conflict has contributed to rising oil prices, with Brent crude trading above $88 a barrel and U.S. gasoline prices averaging $4 a gallon. The U.S. military identified two soldiers killed in Jordan and one death in Iraq during operations involving downed Iranian drones. President Trump is scheduled to attend a ceremony at Dover Air Force Base for arriving service members' remains.

In a related development, Yemen's Houthi rebels, supported by Iran, announced a maritime embargo against Saudi Arabia, targeting the Bab el-Mandeb strait. Saudi Arabia's military stated it would maintain the waterway's openness and address any threats swiftly, characterizing them as violations of international law and acts of piracy.
