Iran has displayed billboards in Tehran that have fueled conspiracy theories regarding the death of Senator Lindsey Graham and included threats against former President Donald Trump. One prominent billboard in Valiasr Square featured the message, "Who is D nexT one? #lindseygraham," with the capitalized initials appearing to target Trump.

Another billboard depicted Trump lying in a coffin, reportedly with the Persian caption, "We will kill Trump." These displays follow earlier billboards that showed Trump and his family behind flag-draped coffins, which appeared after U.S. missile strikes on Iranian infrastructure.

The recent billboards have intensified speculation that Iran may have been involved in Graham's death. The South Carolina senator, who was 71, had visited Kyiv and spoken with Trump shortly before his passing on July 11. Authorities first received a 911 call about a cardiac arrest at Graham's home. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but Graham was pronounced dead early on July 12. His office stated he died from a "brief and sudden illness." The official cause of death was later revealed to be "aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease."

There is no confirmation or evidence to suggest Iran was involved in Graham's death. Following the billboards and Graham's passing, Trump posted on Truth Social, urging Republicans to add Iran to the Russian Sanctions Bill in Graham's honor.

It remains unclear who is behind the billboards. However, Iranian officials have issued warnings for people to stay away from U.S. military bases in the Middle East, citing "U.S. acts of aggression and threats from terrorist groups." Iran's new leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has also made statements on X, formerly Twitter, vowing retribution against the U.S. and calling Trump the "Great Satan."
