Internet Star Bryce Hall Banned from Seeing Ex-Girlfriend Amid Domestic Violence Charges
Social media personality accused of felony coercion and misdemeanor battery following an incident over a robot vacuum cleaner.
Internet personality Bryce Hall was arrested last month on felony domestic violence charges following an alleged physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Mika Lafuente, at his Las Vegas home. A judge has now banned Hall from contacting or seeing Lafuente until January 2027.
Hall appeared in Las Vegas Justice Court on Tuesday, where Justice of the Peace Nancy Bernstein issued the order. The 27-year-old faces one felony count of coercion constituting domestic violence, involving the threat or use of physical force, and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery. These charges stem from an incident on July 27.
According to an arrest report, the dispute began when Lafuente returned to the home she had shared with Hall to retrieve personal belongings after their breakup. Lafuente informed authorities that she had collected most of her possessions and went back inside to collect a Roomba robot vacuum cleaner.
Hall allegedly prevented Lafuente from taking the vacuum, leading to an argument that reportedly escalated to a physical confrontation. Witnesses told investigators that Hall grabbed Lafuente, carried her to the front door, and threw her onto landscaping rocks outside the property. Lafuente sustained minor scratches from the incident.
Police also obtained an audio recording Lafuente had secretly made during the confrontation. In the recording, Lafuente can be heard telling Hall to slap her, to which he responded, "I'm not going to hit you. I am going to grab you."
The criminal complaint was filed on August 28, over a month after the alleged incident, and an arrest warrant was issued on September 10. Hall was subsequently arrested and released on his own recognizance without bail.
Hall's attorney, Frank Coumou, disputed the allegations, stating that Lafuente had been trespassing at Hall's home and refusing to leave. "This is the basis of the alleged domestic violence," Coumou told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "My client is eager to defend himself in court."
The alleged confrontation occurred just two days after Hall publicly announced the end of his relationship with Lafuente, whom he had dated for over two years. In a social media video posted on July 25, Hall stated that Lafuente had moved out and that the breakup "wasn't pretty," though he declined to provide further details and wished her well.
Hall is scheduled to return to court on December 1.
