Inside the Luxury Rehab Facility Where Presley Gerber Died

Presley Gerber, 27, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died at the Resolutions Living rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, California. The luxury home, valued at $7.7 million, offers specialized addiction and mental health support, according to the facility's website.
Resolutions Living focuses on providing a serene environment for residents, allowing them to experience sober living in the area. The three-story property boasts spacious living quarters, a home theater, a gym, city and mountain views, and chef-prepared meals. The program offers a three-phase recovery plan tailored to individual needs, including goal-setting, volunteer work, and character-building activities.
The treatment team includes certified counselors, doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, yoga instructors, an acupuncturist, and a hypnotherapist. A source close to Gerber stated that he was struggling prior to entering treatment and recognized his need for help, expressing a desire to be "free" from his addictions.
"He’s always suffered from a huge lack of self-esteem and had trouble accepting his real self and feeling fully confident in who he was as a person," the source told Page Six.
Richard Taite, founder and chairman of Carrara Treatment, which is not affiliated with Resolutions Living, commented on the inherent risks of addiction. "Addiction can involve serious medical risk: withdrawal, underlying health conditions, medication interactions, overdose risk and complications from multiple substances," Taite explained. "Walking through the front door doesn’t erase the physiological consequences of addiction. People can experience withdrawal complications, medication reactions, psychiatric emergencies and other medical problems while they’re in treatment. The goal isn’t to pretend risk disappears. It’s to manage that risk intelligently."
Emergency services were dispatched to the facility following a 911 call around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, which dispatch audio indicated was for "cardiac arrest" and "overdose." Gerber was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has not yet released the official cause and manner of his death. Resolutions Living has not yet commented on Gerber's passing.
Gerber is survived by his parents, Rande and Cindy Gerber, and his sister, Kaia Gerber.
