A property investor and influencer is recovering after his $1 million Ferrari SF90 Spider was split in half during a crash with a tree. The incident occurred on Saturday morning on Rio Vista Boulevard at Mermaid Waters.

Sam Gordon, a Gold Coast developer known for his extensive property portfolio, reportedly walked away from the wreckage with minor injuries. Shocking images of the supercar, a red SF90 Spider, show it largely unrecognizable, with the rear section destroyed and the front windshield damaged.

Gordon, who has previously shared videos of his approximately 150 properties and other luxury vehicles like Lamborghinis, took to social media later on Saturday to update concerned followers. He expressed gratitude for the messages he had received and stated he was "all good, all sweet."

"Massive shout out to Ferrari for building a crazy car that protects the driver first in an accident," Gordon said in his online update.

The Ferrari SF90 Spider is a high-performance hybrid sports car with models in Australia ranging in price from $960,000 to $1.7 million. Gordon had described the car as his "dream car" after purchasing it in May of the previous year.
