Influencer 'Clavicular' Pleads Not Guilty to Rape Charge
Braden Peters, known online for 'looksmaxxing' content, faces charges of sexually assaulting a minor.
Online influencer Braden Peters, known by his moniker 'Clavicular,' has pleaded not guilty to a rape charge. Peters, who boasts over a million followers across TikTok and Instagram for his "looksmaxxing" content, is accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in May 2025.
According to reports, the alleged assault occurred at Peters' family home in Chatham after he ordered the then-17-year-old an Uber. The pair were reportedly drinking alcohol while filming a livestream before the alleged rape took place. A police officer investigating the report stated that they believed the victim was unable to consent due to her age and level of intoxication, as evidenced in the livestream footage.
Peters has gained notoriety for extreme self-improvement methods, including admitting to using a hammer on his face and jawline, as well as using steroids and injections. He also offers advice on masculinity and performs stunts for his online audience.
This is not the first legal encounter for Peters. Earlier in 2025, he was charged in Florida after allegedly filming himself shooting at a dead alligator. He entered a no-contest plea to charges of unlawfully discharging a firearm in public. In March, he was arrested on suspicion of battery after authorities believed he instigated a fight between two women, though charges were later dropped in July.
Following his court appearance, Peters posted a photograph on social media showing himself in a black suit and tie, accompanied by his dog, which he had brought to the court hearing. His next court date is scheduled for November 24, where a judge will determine if sufficient evidence exists to proceed with the case.
