Influencer Claims Knight Kissed Him Days Before Engagement to Brayshaw

US influencer and podcaster Ryan Pownall, 34, has claimed that Annie Knight kissed him and flirted with him days before she became engaged to her now-husband, Henry Brayshaw. Pownall shared footage on social media detailing his interaction with Knight, alleging that he intimately kissed her in front of Brayshaw during a dinner in Los Angeles.

Pownall stated that he met Knight in Cancún where she was traveling with Brayshaw, whom she described as just a friend. Knight later invited Pownall to a date in Los Angeles, but informed him shortly before that Brayshaw would also be attending. According to Pownall, he and Knight kissed during the date, and when he jokingly told her to "take care of her man," Knight responded, "He's not my fucking man!"

He recounted that just 48 hours after this encounter, Knight and Brayshaw appeared to become engaged, followed shortly by their wedding. Pownall expressed surprise at their engagement, noting that Brayshaw seemed to reference him in engagement photos, claiming he was the "winner."

Knight confirmed Pownall's account to the Daily Mail, admitting that her romance with Brayshaw intensified after Pownall's interaction with her. She explained that while she and Pownall flirted in Cancún, their relationship was not romantic. She acknowledged that seeing her flirt with Pownall may have been instrumental in Brayshaw realizing the depth of his feelings for her.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I think seeing me with Ryan made Henry jealous. It was probably what made him realise he was in love with me," Knight told the Daily Mail.

Knight and Brayshaw became engaged in March 2025 during a trip to Los Angeles and were married on October 1 at The Valley Estate in Currumbin Valley.
