Online personality known as 'Clavicular,' whose real name is Braden Peters, is facing accusations from former high school classmates regarding extreme practices aimed at enhancing his masculine appearance. These individuals have shared what they describe as unrecognizable photos and humiliating secrets from his past, portraying a dark obsession with achieving an aesthetic pinnacle of masculinity.
According to reports, Peters allegedly engages in practices such as hitting his face with a hammer, injecting himself with testosterone, using experimental weight loss drugs, and smoking methamphetamine to maintain a lean physique. These alleged actions are linked to his pursuit of 'looksmaxxing,' a niche internet subculture focused on maximizing physical attractiveness.
One former classmate, who requested anonymity, described Peters as "a little strange" and "very quiet" during their limited interactions. Another acquaintance, Aryan K, told the Daily Mail that during a lunch encounter, Peters was "really fixated on looks and steroids." Ryan Go, who graduated from the same high school in 2024, noted that Peters "mostly kept to himself."
While growing up in Hoboken, Peters was reportedly not unlike many adolescents preoccupied with their appearance during puberty. However, former classmates suggest his current fixation goes far beyond typical teenage concerns.
Clavicular, who has amassed a significant following across platforms like TikTok and Instagram, also believes that romantic relationships are a distraction from his primary goal of 'ascending' – a term within the looksmaxxing community for becoming more handsome. In February, Peters walked the runway for designer Elena Velez during New York Fashion Week. During the same trip to New York City, he was reportedly removed from a nightclub called Le Bain.
Records indicate that Peters was arrested in Arizona two months after graduating high school on suspicion of entering a bar with a fake ID, though the charges were later dropped.
