IndyCar Star Graham Rahal and Wife Courtney Force Seek Return of Missing Dogs
The couple fears their two Alaskan Malamutes may have been kidnapped after their tracker was found discarded.
IndyCar driver Graham Rahal and his wife, former NHRA racer Courtney Force, are urgently searching for their two Alaskan Malamute dogs, Beau and Arrow, who disappeared from their California home on Tuesday night. The couple believes the dogs may have been kidnapped.
The eight-year-old male dogs went missing after a gate malfunctioned at their Yorba Linda residence. Rahal told TMZ that a tracker on one of the dogs indicated it was picked up by a vehicle approximately 200 yards from their home. After moving through several locations, the tracker was found discarded in bushes, though the collar was not recovered.
One of the dogs was not wearing a tracker due to health reasons, but both are microchipped. The couple has alerted the Orange County Sheriff's Department, filing a police report Tuesday night.
Rahal is actively visiting the locations where the tracking device registered activity, hoping to find surveillance footage that could shed light on the dogs' disappearance. The tracker's last known location was in Brea at 9:44 p.m. on Tuesday.
"Help us find our boys, Arrow and Beau," the couple pleaded on social media. "They got out of our gate and seemingly got picked up in a car, just down the street from our house. However, the tracker device on his collar showed they went from Yorba Linda to Tustin then back to Brea, before just his tracker was found on the side of the road, in the bushes in Brea."
Rahal, 37, is the son of 1986 Indianapolis 500 champion Bobby Rahal and has secured six IndyCar race wins in his career. Force, the daughter of NHRA Drag Racing legend John Force, raced alongside her sisters Ashley and Brittany before retiring in 2019. The couple married in 2015 and have three daughters.
