An Indiana teacher accused of orchestrating an underage orgy involving students while they wore "Scream" masks has finalized her divorce.
Brittany Fortinberry, who faces nearly 50 charges including sexual misconduct with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, officially divorced her husband, Nicholas Fortinberry, on Monday. The split comes more than a year after Nicholas Fortinberry initiated divorce proceedings.
According to settlement papers, Brittany Fortinberry will retain her personal belongings, including clothes, shoes, and makeup. Her ex-husband was awarded a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica and a Toyota 4Runner. Nicholas Fortinberry was also granted sole legal custody of the couple's child.
Authorities allege that Brittany Fortinberry, a former math teacher, engaged in sexual activity with at least six students. The charges were filed last year following an investigation into the disturbing case.
