An In-N-Out employee was among the two people killed in a mass shooting outside a restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, on Saturday, the fast-food chain's CEO confirmed Sunday.
Seven other people were wounded in the incident. The gunman has not been identified, and a motive for the shooting remains unclear.
In an Instagram post, In-N-Out CEO Lynsi Snyder stated that the employee who died was "taking care of our most important asset – our Customers, and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own." The post did not name the employee.
One of the wounded individuals has been identified as Terry Dudley, who was reportedly shot twice in the back while charging his Tesla. A GoFundMe page created to support Dudley's medical treatment and recovery has raised nearly $2,000.
Images from the scene show emergency responders, including fire trucks and police cars, outside the In-N-Out Burger restaurant. Other images captured from witness video appear to show an individual with a gun in front of the establishment.
