In-N-Out Burger is set to open six new restaurants across five states as part of its ongoing expansion. The popular West Coast chain has announced plans for new locations in Madison, Tennessee; San Tan Valley, Arizona; St. George, Utah; and Twin Falls, Idaho.
While specific opening dates for these new markets have not yet been released, the company provides updates on its official website. Additionally, In-N-Out has revealed plans to open a restaurant in New Mexico, with an expected opening by 2027.
These upcoming openings mark continued growth for the burger chain, which celebrated its 400th location in Meridian, Idaho, in December 2023. This milestone expanded In-N-Out's footprint to its eighth state. More recently, the chain opened its second-largest restaurant by seating capacity on the Las Vegas Strip and a new location in Timnath, Colorado, on June 25.
Despite these expansions, In-N-Out has maintained its historical approach of selective growth, prioritizing the establishment of its own fresh food distribution network. This strategy has thus far prevented expansion to the East Coast, unlike many of its fast-food competitors. The company has also opted against implementing mobile ordering and app-based pickup services.
Founded in Baldwin Park, California, in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, In-N-Out Burger has cultivated a dedicated following through its streamlined menu, emphasis on fresh ingredients, and popular secret menu items like 'animal-style' fries. The chain consistently ranks among America's top fast-food burger joints.
