His current net worth stands at approximately $4.2 billion, placing him on Forbes’ 2026 World Billionaires list. Pritzker's personal health has also been a topic of discussion, with the governor revealing he has been using a GLP-1 medication for the past two years to manage diabetes. The 61-year-old Democrat stated in a CBS interview that he has lost 80 pounds since starting the medication and feels significantly better. He noted that his doctor recommended the drug after blood work revealed his diabetes diagnosis two years ago.

Alongside the medication, Pritzker maintains a daily four-mile walk along Lake Michigan. When asked about a potential 2028 presidential run, Pritzker stated he has not made any decisions but is focused on his role as governor and his reelection campaign.
Recent polling data places Pritzker behind other potential Democratic candidates for the 2028 presidential election. A Bowling Green State University/YouGov poll showed him not registering in the leading tier of candidates, while a Harvard CAPS/Harris survey placed him at 4 percent.
