Minneapolis police reportedly executed a search warrant at the home of Adnan Hirsi, the son of U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, confiscating firearms and ammunition and arresting his roommate, Abdulrahman Abdi. The incident, which has not implicated Hirsi or Omar in any wrongdoing, has drawn sharp criticism and commentary from political opponents and social media users.

According to Alpha News, the search warrant was executed on Tuesday at the Minneapolis apartment shared by Hirsi and Abdi. Abdi was reportedly arrested earlier the same day. The Minneapolis Police Department declined to comment when reached by Fox News Digital. Records confirm Abdi was arrested by Minneapolis police and released the following day.

News of the raid quickly circulated on social media platforms, prompting immediate reactions from conservative commentators and activists. Online, figures such as Benny Johnson, Derek Hunter, and Eitan Fischberger shared their views on the report. Steve Ferguson, a small business owner, posted, "Nothing to see here. Move along." Former Trump advisors Corey Lewandowski and Sean Spicer also shared the report.

Rep. Omar, a prominent advocate for gun control, has not been directly implicated in the incident. Hirsi was also not reported to be involved in any wrongdoing.
