Dozens of husbands and partners spent more than 12 hours queuing outside the luxury resale store Sellier in Knightsbridge, London, over the weekend to secure discounted designer handbags for their wives. The event, which featured heavily sought-after items from brands including Chanel, Hermès, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, drew over 2,000 shoppers and caused significant disruption to the local area.

The queue for the flash sale, held on September 26, snaked around the street corner as bargain hunters vied for deals on bags often priced below £2,500.

Some men arrived as early as 11:30 p.m. the night before, with their wives joining just minutes before the store opened to take over their spots. One husband, identified as Whalid from London, stated he had been waiting since 9 p.m. the previous evening. "Either looking at the big jumbo, the jumbo Chanel, or there's one little Chanel - I don't know the name of it but the missus sent me a picture. She said it looks nice, so…" he explained.

Another shopper joined the line at 2 a.m. after attending a nightclub. "My partner dropped me outside at 2 a.m. I had to change my clothes - but it was well worth it honestly. I'm 56, I got my first Chanel," she commented.

The sale attracted shoppers from considerable distances, including one couple who reportedly traveled approximately 600 miles from Marseille, France, arriving at the queue at 2 a.m. without sleep.

Witnesses shared their observations on social media, with one woman noting a gentleman who queued for nine hours to get his wife's preferred blue Chanel flap bag. "Lots of men queuing for their women - putting others to shame! Was lovely to see," she posted.
