The husband of Brooke Hanlon, a 35-year-old New Jersey woman found dead in her home in June, has been making weekly visits to the couple's residence, neighbors told Fox News Digital.

Conor Hanlon, 36, has been observed at the Chester home on Thursdays and Fridays. Neighbors reported seeing his white Volvo SUV parked in the driveway during the day, but it does not remain overnight. Hanlon has been seen performing yard work and moving items in and out of the home, with neighbors noting the garage door has been open on several occasions.

Brooke Hanlon was discovered dead in the home on June 6. The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the death as a homicide. No suspect or person of interest has been named in connection with the case, and Conor Hanlon has not been charged with any crime or accused of wrongdoing.

Conor Hanlon spoke publicly about his wife's death for the first time recently, denying any involvement and stating, “My heart is totally shattered.” When asked by a reporter if he had any part in his wife’s death, he responded, “Of course not.” He described the situation as “a tragedy” but declined further comment due to the ongoing investigation.

Neighbors have expressed continued unease as law enforcement has not provided updates on the case. One neighbor recalled that approximately three weeks before Brooke Hanlon was found deceased, local police canvassed the area, knocking on doors to check on residents after a 911 call was reportedly made nearby. The neighbor stated that police visited her door between 9:30 and 10 p.m. to inquire if everything was alright, as she lives next door to the Hanlon residence.

Another neighbor, who owns a gun, told Fox News Digital in July that he is prepared to defend his family if necessary, stating he has been more vigilant about his surroundings due to the possibility of a killer still being at large.
