Conor Hanlon, the husband of Brooke Hanlon, who was found stabbed to death in her Chester, New Jersey home, has retained legal counsel, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office confirmed to Fox News Digital. Investigators have confirmed ongoing communication with Conor Hanlon as the homicide probe continues.

Brooke Hanlon, 35, was discovered on June 6 with what the medical examiner determined to be "multiple sharp force injuries." The Morris County Prosecutor's Office stated that they have been in contact with "several" family members throughout the investigation. When asked about Conor Hanlon's cooperation, authorities declined to comment.

A Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) log obtained by Fox News Digital shows that the initial 911 call reporting the incident on June 6 was for "Cardiac or Respiratory Arrest." Within approximately 13 minutes, at 4:42 p.m., a dispatcher noted "suspicious death" in the log. Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were alerted shortly thereafter.

The log further indicates that investigators, including detectives and the medical examiner, were present at the residence from June 6 through June 12. The log was officially closed out on June 12. It is not immediately clear who is representing Conor Hanlon. He has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

The investigation into Brooke Hanlon's death remains active and ongoing. Authorities are asking the public for assistance and urge anyone with information to contact them.
