Months after his wife Lynette Hooker disappeared during a sailing trip in the Bahamas, Brian Hooker has been observed in Citrus Heights, California. Video footage shows Hooker, 58, in various everyday activities, including walking dogs, enjoying coffee, and sifting through neighborhood trash.
Lynette Hooker, originally from Michigan, vanished in April while the couple was on vacation. Brian Hooker told investigators that his wife fell from a dinghy as they returned to their sailboat, named Soulmate. He was initially detained and questioned by Bahamian authorities but was later released from custody. The U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service is the lead agency investigating her disappearance.
Lynette Hooker's mother has expressed a desire for the truth and justice for her daughter, alleging that Brian Hooker lied about the circumstances of the disappearance and suspecting foul play.
Recent sightings of Brian Hooker show him engaging in activities such as walking two small dogs, consuming coffee in a garage, and collecting items from trash bins on the street. He was seen wearing a T-shirt reading "Hellfire Club" from the show "Stranger Things," and his Marine Corps tattoo was visible at one point.
Brian Hooker has not been formally accused of any crime or wrongdoing in connection with his wife's disappearance.
