An upcoming interview featuring Hunter Biden and conservative commentator Nick Fuentes was filmed on a constructed set designed to resemble a motel room, according to sources familiar with the production. The deliberate choice of setting was intended to connect with themes of substance abuse associated with Hunter Biden's past.

The interview, which was moderated by Andrew Callaghan, was reportedly conceived by publicist Mitchell Jackson, who represents Callaghan and other controversial figures. The goal was to lean into Biden's history of drug use, which has been linked to motel settings in public discourse, including a notable photograph of Biden in a motel room.

Despite the intention to film in an actual motel, sources stated that no establishments would agree to host the production. Consequently, a motel set was erected in a "sketchy part of Philly" for the recording. The interview is scheduled for release later this month.

Sources anticipate the conversation to be significant, with one suggesting it "is genuinely an interview that's going to shift politics" and is "what America didn’t know it needed."

Since joining the social media platform X in May, Hunter Biden has gained attention for his posts, which have been described as authentic. He has also recently engaged in other media appearances, including discussions about his Secret Service detail on Benny Blanco’s podcast and his recovery journey in a Wired profile.
