Hunter Biden Mocks Donald Trump Jr. Over Russian-Funded Wedding

Hunter Biden has publicly mocked Donald Trump Jr. over his wedding, which featured financial contributions from a Russian oligarch. Biden, posting on X, contrasted his own rooftop wedding with Trump Jr.'s event, which included a private island reception and fireworks.

"Don Jr. needed a Russian oligarch, two islands and a fireworks show," Biden wrote. "I got married on the rooftop of an apartment building in West Hollywood. It was so much cooler."

This exchange marks the latest development in the public sparring between the sons of political rivals. Previously, Hunter Biden challenged Donald Trump Jr. and his brother, Eric Trump, to a cage match. Eric Trump had also recently commented on Biden's failed memecoin launch.

Donald Trump Jr.'s wedding to Bettina Anderson took place on May 21 in the Bahamas. The festivities were partially funded by Umar Kremlev, a Russian oligarch and the head of the International Boxing Association. Kremlev reportedly contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars towards the post-wedding celebrations.

Bettina Anderson shared on Instagram that "Our dear friend Umar very generously hosted two incredible nights of celebrations for us AFTER our wedding. It was an extraordinarily generous wedding gift from a friend, and something for which we were and remain incredibly grateful."

While President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump did not attend the wedding, Donald Trump Jr.'s siblings Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany were among the approximately 50 guests, including Kremlev. The youngest Trump son, Barron, also did not attend.

Kremlev, 43, has faced allegations of corruption, leading to the International Boxing Association being stripped of its recognition and banned from the Paris 2024 Olympics during his tenure. He had been with Russian President Vladimir Putin on a state visit to China shortly before the wedding.

Kremlev and Donald Trump Jr., who is known to be a fan of combat sports, participated in an International Boxing Association panel event in Istanbul the previous year.
