Hunter Biden stated in a recent podcast interview that he identifies as "48.6 percent gay." The remarks were made during an appearance on The Luke Beasley Show, posted on August 16.
During the interview, when asked directly if he was gay, Biden responded, "Only a little bit." He then elaborated on his self-assessment when prompted to quantify it, stating "48.6 percent." He also described his "type" if he were gay as "a little bit more masculine."
Later in the nearly 90-minute discussion, Biden appeared to revisit the topic, saying, "maybe I take back 48.5 percent." He quipped, "My gaydom went down a percentage point." Toward the end of the interview, he reversed that statement, saying, "I just wanted to let you know that I am back up to 48.5 percent gay."
Biden married Melissa Cohen in 2019, six days after they first met. He was previously married to Kathleen Buhle, with whom he has three daughters. That marriage ended in divorce in 2017.
