A Hulk Hogan-themed sports bar in New York City, a project backed by a $7 million investment, is moving forward after the death of the wrestling icon, with his son, Nick Hogan, stepping in to ensure his father's vision is realized.
The establishment, named Slam, is located directly across from Madison Square Garden, a venue significant to Hulk Hogan's career. Rich Rosen, a New York hospitality veteran and partner in the venture, had pitched the idea to Hogan in June 2025. Rosen reportedly waited hours at an autograph signing to present his proposal, which included a glossy photo of Madison Square Garden and the storefront for the planned bar.
Hulk Hogan passed away in July of the same year at the age of 71. Following his death, investors and fans were uncertain about the future of Slam. Rosen, who was devastated by the news, stated that the project was not ready to be abandoned.
Nick Hogan has assumed a prominent role to honor his father's wishes. "It wasn't even a question," Nick Hogan told Page Six. "This was always happening. If anything, it has a greater purpose now than ever." Rosen appointed Nick as vice president of American Sports Bar Entertainment, positioning him as the public face of the brand.
Rosen and Nick Hogan are planning a weeklong grand opening celebration later this year, aiming to create an event befitting the WWE legend's legacy. The project represents a significant investment and a continuation of Hulk Hogan's entrepreneurial spirit.
