One year after the death of WWE legend Hulk Hogan, his son Nick Hogan has spoken about the family's efforts to heal and carry on his father's legacy. Hulk Hogan, who passed away at 71 from cardiac arrest on July 24, 2025, is survived by his wife Sky Daily, his children Brooke and Nick, and his ex-wives Linda Hogan and Jennifer McDaniel.
"Everyone's doing great. Everyone's been really supportive and everyone's really been strong this past year," Nick Hogan told the Daily Mail. "So grateful to have a fantastic support group with us." He added that Sky and her family have remained close, emphasizing the importance of their unity during this difficult time.
Nick also shared that his older sister, Brooke Hogan, is doing well, recently appearing on HGTV's "Rock the Block." He expressed pride in her accomplishments and excitement for her new family. This update suggests a potential repair in relationships, as Brooke had previously revealed estrangement from parts of her family.
Brooke, who has fraternal twins, had told Us Weekly in April that she remained estranged from her mother Linda and Nick, though she maintained love for her younger brother. She described the pain siblings endure in broken families, being forced to take sides. "That's my little brother and that will never change. He's got a big sister 'til the end," Brooke had stated, noting a lack of support from Nick at times.
Following Hulk Hogan's passing, Brooke was left out of his $5 million will, having requested removal in 2023. Nick was named the sole beneficiary.
Ongoing Ventures and Legacy
Nick Hogan has taken a leading role in managing his father's business ventures, including Slam Sports Bar, retail stores, and Hulk Hogan's Wrestling Shop. He also mentioned Hogan's Hangout in Florida, Real American Freestyle wrestling company, and Real American Beer, all of which are reportedly experiencing success.
"On the anniversary of his passing, we really took a day just to be still and to think about him," Nick said. The family is focused on moving forward in ways they believe Hulk Hogan would be proud of. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis previously commissioned August 1 as Hulk Hogan Day in 2025 to "keep the thrill of Hulkamania fresh in everyone's minds."
A significant upcoming venture is the grand opening of Slam Sports Bar in New York City this September. Located across from Madison Square Garden, the two-story venue was designed by ICRAVE, the team behind the Las Vegas Sphere's interior. "Nick has been unbelievable," said Rich Rosen, founder and CEO of Slam Sports Bar. "Without Nick, this is so much more difficult to achieve." Rosen described the partnership as humbling and aimed at creating a brand worthy of Hulk Hogan.
Nick acknowledged that while he is leading these business efforts, other family members are excited to be involved. "As far as leadership and moving all the business stuff forward, it's all pretty much under my leadership," he explained.
Future Projects
Looking ahead, Nick Hogan teased additional Hulk Hogan-related projects in development, though details remain undisclosed. He compared the potential scope to the recent Netflix documentary "Hulk Hogan: Real American," suggesting at least one project is moving forward at a similar level of significance.
Nick also expressed gratitude to fans worldwide for their support and for sharing how his father impacted their lives. "So just a huge thank you to all the fans and all of our supporters around the world," he concluded. The family maintains a strong relationship with WWE, which has been supportive of their endeavors.
