Hugo Taylor Shares Cryptic Poem Amid Ex-Wife Millie Mackintosh's New Relationship

Hugo Taylor shared a thoughtful quote on social media Wednesday, eight months after his split from ex-wife Millie Mackintosh, who has recently been seen publicly with a new partner.

Taylor, 40, and Mackintosh, 37, who both starred in the reality series 'Made in Chelsea,' announced their separation earlier this year and officially filed for divorce in February. They share two daughters, Sienna, six, and Aurelia, four.

Last week, Mackintosh was photographed holding hands with her new boyfriend, Welsh fitness enthusiast Matthew Tanner, 38, during an outing in Chelsea. The couple appeared affectionate as they walked together.

Tanner works as a Global Solutions Director and Programme Director at Robert Walters Consultancy. His social media presence indicates a shared interest in fitness with Mackintosh, as he frequently posts photos related to his athletic pursuits, including training for marathons. He previously played amateur rugby before an injury led him to focus on endurance racing.

Mackintosh reportedly joined the celebrity dating app Raya over the summer. While sources close to her stated she was not in a rush to find a new relationship, she expressed openness to "having some fun and getting back out there." Her dating app profile describes her as a "creator, entrepreneur and author" and notes that someone with "emotional intelligence" would be most attractive to her.

Taylor's social media post featured a quote from J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Fellowship of the Ring': "All that is gold does not glitter. Not all those who wander are lost. The old that is strong does not wither. Deep roots are not reached by the frost." This quote serves as a rephrasing of the traditional proverb "All that glitters is not gold," which cautions against appearances being deceptive.

The couple's relationship has a public history, having met on 'Made in Chelsea' in 2011. Their initial romance was marked by public drama, including an incident where Mackintosh threw a drink at Taylor after discovering he had been unfaithful with her friend. They separated that same year.

After Mackintosh's marriage to rapper Professor Green, which ended in divorce finalized in 2016, she and Taylor reconciled in 2016. They married and later welcomed their two daughters. The couple had also recently undertaken renovations on their home in west London.
