Comedian Howie Mandel confessed on his podcast that he receives "happy ending" massages, a revelation that visibly horrified his daughter, Jackie Shultz.
Mandel, 70, made the comment on the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast last Tuesday, telling Shultz and guest Camilla Araujo that he pays "like $25" for massages that include hand jobs. "The truth is — I have this lady that gives me tuggies," Mandel said. "I pay like $25, and I get hand jobs."
Shultz, 42, reacted with shock, questioning guest Araujo if she would ever discuss such topics with her own father. Mandel then elaborated, recounting an instance where he asked the masseuse to "loosen my shoulders" after the alleged act, only for her to tell him to "Get the f–k out of here."
When Araujo explained that the "happy ending" is typically part of the service, Mandel responded, "Don’t you think it would be happy if she just loosened my shoulders?"
Shultz expressed her discomfort with the conversation, telling her father, "I’m always so uncomfortable when you make these jokes. This is not like a father-daughter conversation usually."
She further probed whether such an act would be considered cheating and if his wife, Terry Soil, would be upset. Mandel, who has been married to Soil for approximately 48 years, suggested Shultz could "call her." Mandel and Soil, high school sweethearts from Toronto, married in March 1980 and have three children. Mandel's comments came despite his long-standing marriage, which Shultz quipped was possible because he was "gone a lot."
Mandel later suggested his confession was a joke, with a representative providing a photo to the Daily Mail showing Mandel pointing to his wife while she wore a glove on her hand and held $25 in cash. Page Six reached out to Mandel's representative for comment.
