Howard Stern recently made a public appearance in the Hamptons alongside his wife, Beth Stern, attending a John Mayer concert at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York. This outing marks Stern's first public sighting since his former assistant, Leslie Kuhn, filed a lawsuit against him and his wife in April.

Kuhn, who began working for Stern in 2022 as an office manager for "The Howard Stern Show" and later became his executive assistant, was terminated earlier this year. Her lawsuit claims she was subjected to an "immense pressure" while managing the Sterns' Southampton home and assisting with Beth Stern's feline rescue operations. Kuhn also alleged that Howard Stern's production company, One Twelve, presented her with a non-disclosure agreement that she denies signing, claiming the reasons for her termination and the NDA were fabricated.

In response to the lawsuit, Stern filed to dismiss the case, seeking $2.5 million in damages. His legal team described the lawsuit as a "shakedown" and a "transparent sham." In August, a judge ruled against Kuhn's claims that Stern's production company had forged NDAs with her name, a legal victory for the Sterns.

Stern's last known public appearance was approximately one year prior, on August 28, 2025, when he and Beth attended the launch of the "Maximum Metallica" channel on SiriusXM, also at Stephen Talkhouse. For the recent outing, Howard Stern was seen in casual attire, while Beth Stern wore a white top and skirt. Beth Stern shared a photo of the couple on Instagram, captioning it "I'm in love."

This public appearance comes after Stern laid off about a dozen staffers from his SiriusXM show last month, with reports indicating that some former employees are seeking additional severance.
