The White House Correspondents' Dinner, originally scheduled for April, has been rescheduled for Friday, July 24, and will implement enhanced security measures. The event will be held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, a smaller venue that can accommodate less than a third of the capacity of the original location.
First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will not be in attendance due to scheduling conflicts. Mentalist Oz Pearlman is set to be the featured entertainer.
The dinner is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. ET. C-SPAN's coverage will commence earlier, at 6:00 p.m. ET, while CNN's broadcast is slated for 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET. Donald Trump is expected to speak around 9:00 p.m. ET.
The event will be broadcast on CNN and C-SPAN. Viewers with a valid cable login can stream the dinner live on CNN.com, the CNN All Access app, and the C-SPAN website. Free live streams will also be available on YouTube via channels such as the Associated Press, C-SPAN, and PBS News.
For those without cable, the event can be watched via live TV streaming services. Options include DIRECTV, which offers a five-day free trial, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and Sling TV. YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV also provide free trials for new subscribers.
