A homeless individual known as Tiger, previously removed from a Sullivan Street sidewalk, has established a new encampment with his partner, Nina, on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village. The couple has furnished the 10-foot-by-5-foot space with items including a lounge chair, nightstands, and a rug.

Residents have reported an increase in disruptive behavior attributed to the pair. Nina has been accused of using the street as a toilet and has allegedly threatened and harassed neighbors. One resident, a 27-year-old woman who requested anonymity, reported that Nina followed and verbally abused her on June 9 while she was walking home. The woman stated that Nina called her racial slurs despite both individuals being Black. The incident was reported to the Sixth Precinct.

Tiger, who has been known to attach a striped tail to his attire, engages in activities such as smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol at his sidewalk dwelling. The couple's relocation and alleged conduct have caused distress among locals, some of whom now avoid the area. Residents expressed concern that despite previous removals, the couple has returned to the neighborhood without intervention from city officials.
