Alivia Daniels, 18, an homecoming queen and recent graduate of Athens Christian School, died on Sunday after suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was airlifted to Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Daniels graduated from Athens Christian School in May and had been preparing to attend college to study dentistry. Her high school described her as "a bright and shining light on the ACS campus," adding that she was "a sweet and kind soul" with an "infectious personality" beloved by students and faculty. During her senior year, she was elected homecoming queen, was a member of the National Honor Society, and played volleyball.

Her obituary noted her passions extended to music, sewing, and photography. Her family stated that her "joyful spirit, contagious laughter, unwavering faith, and Christ-like love touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her." Her family also highlighted her deep faith, noting that she "lived a life that reflected the love, grace, and joy of Jesus Christ" and "faithfully shined His light everywhere she went."

Daniels is survived by her parents, Jared Daniels and Brandy Knott, her stepfather Kevin Knott, and her siblings Kayla, Hunter, Nicholas, and Jared. Her obituary also mentioned Hudson Mize, described as the "love of her life," and his family.
