Hollywood Actress Thwarts Robbery Attempt at Mansion

Hollywood actress Monet Mazur confronted three masked robbers who attempted to break into her Hollywood Hills mansion on Saturday night. Mazur, 50, was home with her dog around 11:30 p.m. when she observed at least three individuals dressed in black and wearing ski masks approaching the property.

Mazur, known for her role as Laura Fine-Baker in the television series "All American," spotted the intruders on her home's security camera feed. She then confronted them, leading the group to flee upon realizing the residence was occupied. It remains unclear exactly how the confrontation unfolded.

The Los Angeles Police Department was alerted and dispatched officers to the scene. However, by the time they arrived, the suspects had already departed. An LAPD helicopter conducted a search of the surrounding area without success, and no arrests have been made.

Mazur's home, estimated to be worth over $1.5 million, features two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a two-car garage on a 4,250 sq ft lot, offering views of the Los Angeles skyline.

This incident occurs amidst a series of burglaries targeting homes in the Los Angeles area, including those of several other celebrities. Notable cases include the break-ins at the homes of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Rachel Zoe, Kathy Hilton, and Sutton Stracke; an attempted burglary at singer Lionel Richie's residence; an intrusion at actor Brad Pitt's home in Los Feliz; an attempted break-in at Teddi Mellencamp's home; and an incident at the Beverly Hills mansion of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. In many of these instances, suspects were deterred by security alarms or the presence of staff or residents.
