Stephanie Waring, 48, a cast member of the British soap opera Hollyoaks, recently showcased her abdominal muscles on Instagram, attributing her current confidence to a consistent fitness regimen and a revised approach to nutrition following menopause.

Waring posted a mirror selfie on Friday, displaying her physique in athletic wear. She shared her perspective on post-menopause, stating, "Post-menopause doesn’t mean you’re past it." She detailed her journey over the past seven months, which involved "consistently lifting heavy and actually eating FOOD no more restricting has made such a difference." Waring encouraged other women to avoid writing themselves off after reaching menopause, emphasizing that while muscle loss and physical changes can occur, building muscle back is achievable.

This journey follows Waring's previous openness about her past struggles with anorexia, an eating disorder that began in childhood. Six years ago, she reportedly overcame her relationship with food and now shares body affirmation content on social media.

Last year, Waring also discussed undergoing breast implant removal due to what she described as "debilitating" menopause symptoms. She explained in an Instagram video that she decided to remove the implants, which had been in place for 14 years, to "get rid of anything foreign" in her body as she navigated early menopause, which she began experiencing around age 43 and fully entered at 45. Waring stated her goal was to give her body a "break" and "start fresh."

Last year, Steph revealed she had her breast implants removed due to 'debilitating' menopause symptoms

Waring, a mother of two, had previously opted for breast augmentation after the birth of her youngest daughter to increase her cup size, stating at the time that it helped her regain confidence. She noted that she is still recovering from the implant removal surgery and will share more details when she feels ready.
