Speaking to The Guardian after competing in the Commonwealth Games, where he won two bronze medals and a team silver, Adam, who became a Christian in 2023, indicated that reconciliation would only occur if he felt his family members had improved as individuals. He noted that forgiveness, while a tenet of his faith, takes time and requires open communication.
