Holly Madison, known for her role in 'The Girls Next Door,' stated she would be open to participating in manufactured drama on a show like 'Real Housewives of Las Vegas,' but only if she were aware of the staged elements. Madison claims that unspecified "puppet masters" behind her former series manipulated the narrative, leading to lasting rifts among the cast members, with some still not speaking to each other.

Madison, who previously indicated she would not return to reality television after 'The Girls Next Door,' has reconsidered her stance. She told Fox News Digital that she would "100%" embrace such manufactured conflict if she were "in on the joke." She contrasted this hypothetical scenario with her past experience, saying, "I would do manufactured drama if I was in on the joke. I always say that to Bridgette watching 'Girls Next Door,' I'm like, if we knew what the drama was and the three of us were gonna play it out on screen and not take it home with us, so to speak, when the cameras are done rolling, that would have been so much more fun to me than being manipulated from the puppet masters above."

She also commented on the evolution of reality television and its audience, noting that viewers are now more discerning. "Editing's crazy," Madison observed, "But I also appreciate that viewers are a little more sophisticated now. I mean, back in the 'Girls Next Door' days, they could edit something to be not what it was. And everybody watching was like, 'Nope, that's your character. That's who you are.'"

Despite her willingness to engage in manufactured reality TV conflict, Madison drew a firm line regarding her children. "I would never put my kids on TV, ever, ever, ever," she stated. Madison shares two children with her ex-husband, Pasquale Rotella.

Madison, who rose to fame through her association with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and her time at the Playboy Mansion, was diagnosed with autism in 2023. She explained that this diagnosis has provided her with a new understanding of past social interactions and personal decisions.

"I understand some of the people I would gravitate to and some of decisions I made differently," she said. "I always felt like not being able to connect with other people and not being able to connect with boys my age was some kind of like mystical fated thing. Like I'm just not meant to do this."

Madison is currently serving as an Event Ambassador for the 16th annual Grant a Gift Gala, supporting the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation. She highlighted the importance of the foundation's work in providing resources and services to individuals with autism and their families.
