A lesbian throuple who built a significant online following with their self-help lifestyle content is embroiled in a legal dispute, with one member accusing the other two of reneging on a promised $3.5 million payout. Jenna Weakland has filed a lawsuit against Nicole LePera, 43, known as the 'Holistic Psychologist,' and her wife, Lauren Galvin, alleging she was unfairly excluded from the brand despite playing a central role in its growth.

Weakland claims in her lawsuit that she was led to believe she was an equal partner in the 'Holistic Psychologist' brand and was promised a one-third stake in the business, a pledge that was never put in writing. She alleges that when she raised concerns about the business dynamic, Galvin initiated a campaign of harassment, including allegedly mocking Weakland's background and referring to her disparagingly. According to the lawsuit, when Weakland attempted to end the relationship, LePera offered a $3.5 million settlement, which subsequently failed to materialize due to what Weakland's filing describes as 'internal bookkeeping gymnastics.'

The lawsuit also details allegations of abuse, with Weakland claiming LePera pushed her down a flight of stairs, resulting in injuries to her ankle and hand. Weakland also alleges that Galvin engaged in a pattern of harassment after Weakland moved out, including trespassing on her new property and threatening to share intimate videos.

LePera and Galvin, through their production company, have filed a counter-suit asserting that Weakland was an employee and customer service agent rather than an equal partner. They deny Weakland's claims of abuse and physical violence. Their lawsuit alleges that Weakland used deception and coercion to integrate into their marriage and business, making threats of false narratives and a tell-all memoir to bolster her claims. The counter-filing also disputes claims of financial control, alleging that Weakland engaged in lavish spending of company funds, including a $20,000 vacation to the Bahamas and tens of thousands in wire transfers and luxury gifts.

LePera, who was already married to Galvin, announced in 2021 that Weakland was joining their relationship, creating a throuple. The announcement came as LePera's 'Holistic Psychologist' brand had gained considerable traction, with Forbes noting her influence in 'radically changing the business of mental health.' Weakland joined the brand in 2019 to help manage its rapid expansion, which included a paid membership service, website, and book deals. She appeared in content alongside LePera and Galvin as their online presence grew.

Weakland has since expressed regret over certain content shared on the brand's Instagram, including a skit where she role-played as LePera's daughter in a scene depicting an emotionally abusive mother. She told The New York Times that given the power imbalance in their actual relationship, such skits made her feel sick.

Attorneys for LePera and Galvin, and for Weakland, have been contacted for comment.
