Holdout Juror in Lindsay Clancy Trial Faces Death Threats, Lawyer Claims

Michael P. Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in the trial of Lindsay Clancy, is facing death threats, doxing, and harassment from what his lawyer describes as a “lunatic mob,” according to a recent report.

Desronvil publicly defended his decision to initially refuse to join the other 11 jurors in finding Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity. Since speaking out, a fundraiser established to support him has garnered over $330,000 for security, legal fees, and lost income.

Desronvil’s attorney, Edward Paltzik, stated that the donated funds would be used to address the necessities arising from the threats and harassment Desronvil has endured. Paltzik previously represented former President Trump.

Lindsay Clancy was found not guilty by reason of insanity in the deaths of her three young children in December 2022. The verdict followed extensive testimony regarding her mental state at the time of the killings. The case has drawn significant public attention and intense emotional responses.
