Hochul Responds to Nicki Minaj's 'Evil' Label, Suggests Trump Influence
New York Governor Kathy Hochul countered rapper Nicki Minaj's criticism by stating she is "nice" and suggesting the artist has been influenced by former President Donald Trump.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul has responded to recent criticism from rapper Nicki Minaj, who called the governor "evil" and urged voters to support Republican candidate Bruce Blakeman. Hochul dismissed the label, stating, "I’m not evil. I’m nice. I’m nice."
When asked about Minaj's remarks, Hochul suggested that the rapper's views might be influenced by her association with former President Donald Trump. "She’s been poisoned by Donald Trump, so that is the issue she has to deal with," Hochul told The Post. "Too much time at Trump rallies is pretty bad for peoples’ mental health."
Minaj had previously voiced her strong disapproval of Hochul on social media, criticizing her for comments made about children in the Bronx. The rapper wrote, "HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU NEED TO SEE & HEAR FROM THEM?!! HOW DARE YOU AS BLACK PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIS VILE WICKED CURSE OF A WOMAN? HOW DARE YOU AS CHRISTIANS?! SHE STAYS SILENT ON HARM BEING CAUSED TO THE INNOCENT & THIS IS WHAT SHE THINKS OF YOUR CHILDREN! Vote BLAKEMAN!"
Minaj has been seen campaigning with former President Trump in support of Republican candidates. The rapper's public statements mark a significant intersection of celebrity influence and political discourse in the upcoming elections.
